Things are in the works to do our first group project.

Plans are to produce a short commercial to help promote the upcoming Tupelo Film Festival. We'll be needing a few volunteers to serve as extras (crowd). Plus two leads to be the main characters (male an female).

More info to follow. If your interested reply to this thread.

Look for an announcement after the Tupelo Film Fest. Our first project will be announced. Also, if you  know of any young aspiring writers (under the age of 18), tell them about this site. There is a contest on the way. And there is something special for the winner.

Currently finalizing rules and such for the contest. I have already obtained a well know published author to score the final selected entries for the contest. A couple of the prizes will be really nice.

Stay tuned!

There will be an ad printed in the local newspapers about the contest. It will begin around Aug-Sept and go through Nov-Dec. This will allow for promotion in schools. Also, a second one is currently being planned for the first of 2010.

OK, time to start sharpening you pencils and warming up you typewriters. Yea, like anybody still uses those anymore.

Getting the details (rules) and entry form ready. Still got to fix an add for the newspaper.
